BioEASI is able to use art as a means to communicate basic research to the public from generous support from our community and sponsors. Currently, we are a group within the University of California, San Diego, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Our current projects include art-making social hours for scientists and artists, a "Science as Art" contest for San Diego researchers, a "Science Art Challenge" for K-12 students in San Diego County, exhibition of "Science as Art" at the San Diego city administration building, and a "Science as Art" exhibit at the San Diego Science Festival.
