OutreachBioEASI has been very active in the San Diego community in 2008/2009, particularly through our participation in the San Diego Science Festival on April 4th, 2009 and by hosting numerous Science Art-making Events throughout 2008. Please see below for more details.
2009 San Diego Science Festival
BioEASI was featured at the San Diego Science Festival Expo at Balboa Park, April 4, 2009. For more information about the festival, please visit San Diego Science Festival.
Our booth was the largest at the Expo and was located in the parking lot directly in front of the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park. BioEASI hosted three activities. For more information and pictures, please go to SD Science Festival on the left menu.
2008 Science Art-Making Events
Art-making happy hours encourage crosstalk between different scientists and allow scientists to express their research in a different form. All participants end up with a piece of artwork they can take back to the bench.
